FIT-4-2 PREGNANCY EXERCISE

We run three types of Fit 4 2 classes.

1. Land class: Includes a low impact cardiovascular workout along with strengthening exercises which target the body areas required to promote a comfortable pregnancy and help with the task of being a new mum. Also includes core strength exercises, leg and arm strength, pelvic floor exercises, general stretches and some pilates based exercises.

2. Aqua class: an aqua aerobics class designed specifically for the pregnant body.

3. Pilates studio class: a class run at our pilates studio, used the reformer, trapeze and other pilates equipment. Specifically targets your core muscles, maintains spine flexiblity and tone. (Prior to attending a pilates studio class you must have a 1:1 session with one of the physiotherapists first to learn how to use the equipment)

You can switch between these sessions above depending on availability.

'Flexible 10' (to be used within 4 months)
$200
'Locked In' 10 (locked in each week) $160

Rebates can be claimed on private health cover.

MUMMYFIT

MummyFit is designed to safely help the post-natal mum get back into shape. All babies are welcome, so you don't have to find a babysitter in order to exercise.

There are 2 class types:
MummyFit class: Sessions include cardio, abdominal and pelvic floor strengthening, pilates exercises, general body toning and stretching. There are different intensity levels in the classes, some girls want to work at high intensity, some wnat to remain low impact. The physiotherapist will guide you to ensure you are working a safe level for your stage post natal.

2. MummyFit Studio Pilates: run at the In Stride Pilates Studio using pilates equipment such as Reformers and Trapeze. These machines target the lower abdominals, pelvis and back and help regain strength in the parts most affected by pregnancy. To attend the studio classes you must have a 1;1 session with one of our physiotherapists first to learn how to use the machines.

You need to be 8 weeks post labour before participating.
